Announcement from Harvard Hillel about My Upcoming Move to Northwestern Hillel
To the Harvard Hillel community:
It is with a mixture of delight and sadness that I write to share the news that Michael Simon, Harvard Hillel’s Associate Director, will be leaving Harvard Hillel at the end of this academic year to become the Executive Director of Fiedler Hillel at Northwestern University.
During his seven years at Harvard Hillel, Michael has played an integral role in partnering with me in all aspects of building Harvard Hillel, including coordinating Hillel’s various departments and constituencies; managing a wide range of activities for undergraduates, graduate students, and minyanim; and especially in serving as a mentor, thought partner, and friend for literally hundreds of undergraduate and graduate students, staff members, Harvard faculty and administrators, and community members.
Please join me in wishing Michael and his wife Claire Sufrin tremendous success in their move to Evanston and in their upcoming work at Northwestern University, in the Chicago Jewish community, and beyond.
We are grateful for Michael’s energy, devotion, and profound contributions to Harvard Hillel and to the Jewish people.
Sincerely,
President and Director
